Peyman Yazdanian

Peyman Yazdanian is an internationally acclaimed Iranian pianist and composer, renowned for his evocative musical style that fluidly bridges the gap between Persian musical traditions and Western classical music. Born in Tehran in 1969, his musical journey began with classical piano studies, which he later advanced under the guidance of Masters in Vienna, Graz, and Marseille. This rich educational background, combined with his degree in Industrial Engineering from Sharif Technical University, offers a unique foundation for his creative output. Yazdanian's compositions, which include over 40 pieces for solo piano and numerous orchestral works, are celebrated for their lyrical beauty, minimalist textures, and powerful, spontaneous improvisation. He is a prize-winning interpreter of works by composers such as Rachmaninoff, Liszt, and Beethoven.

Yazdanian performs live improvisation concerts globally, often collaborating with jazz musicians and blending the sounds of traditional Iranian instruments like the kamancheh and daf with Western harmony.
